IC Permissions

1. Has your character ever died, come back from dead, had a close brush with death? Or are they just plain UNDEAD (Vampire, zombie, etc...) Nico can sense life forces. Mostly, this enables him to tell when someone has died, or is close to dying. But he can also tell when someone is, say, immortal, or has no soul at all.

2. Can Nico visit your character in their dreams?

3. If you do or do not want him to be able to sense anything specific about your character, please let me know!

1. Has your character ever died, etc? Technically yes, but. Waves hand, explanation unclear, oh that wacky space magic.
2. (Optional) Nico can visit people in dreams. Vote Yes if you ever wanna. I imagine it's circumstantial but sure, leaves door open.

It's very circumstantial, and I don't even know what I want to do with it, except maybe it'll be a fun thing at some point. He's pretty respectful of staying out of people's dreams, so there would have to be a reason for him to be invading.

Or are they just plain UNDEAD (Vampire, zombie, etc...)? no she's not undead, but she's not human. hard to say she's technically alive either, she's a crystal. she's also very very divine, tho' this is heavily sealed.
1a. For those of the Undead variety, did you know Nico can control the dead? How does this make you feel? IT WILL SURPRISE HER, can they please find skeletons or something so he can show her. pyra can also take souls into her, too, and can bring people back to life. she's incapable of actual necromancy tho, so she would be amazed at his power.
2. (Optional) Nico can visit people in dreams. Vote Yes if you ever wanna.
this would be an interesting set up, maybe? she does sleep! when she goes to sleep she goes to her own little memory dimension. maybe he can realize she's not actually sleeping.

Sooooo. I assume she has some kind of soul or life force? Typically, he'd be able to sense whether someone is mortal or immortal, and while he's not able to pinpoint how old immortals are, he can get a vague idea (thousands of years, tens of thousands, too many to comprehend). What would you be comfortable with him being about to pick up, if anything?

He would be happy to show her. He could also tell her about the time he brought his sister back from the dead (probably not in the way she's thinking).

The sleep thing would be interesting.

Way too many brushes with death to count.

And if 'death' counts as not necessarily the death of the flesh but of the soul, Era had like both feet in the grave for a bit. Her soul was so horrifically damaged that it was a breath away from shattering to pieces. She got better though!

Also not positive if it's relevant, but while Era is mortal, she's also a little bit not? 🤔 Like her body is mortal, but her soul has the capability of persisting after death and kinda just hopping into a corpse and reanimating it.

So kind of a nebulous area of 'body is totally mortal but soul is technically immortal'.

Character Name: Héctor
1. Has your character ever died, come back from dead, had a close brush with death? Or are they just plain UNDEAD (Vampire, zombie, etc...)?hhhhoboy yeah. So first, he "died" and went to hell. Then he died four times down there (with a bonus single evening stint as a vampire), returned back home to live out his actual death properly and exist as a ghost in the afterlife where he ASSUMES he met final death (it's a close call?), returned to hell, managed to die two more times despite being like... triple ghost at this point, and he's had a ton of close in between then.
1a. For those of the Undead variety, did you know Nico can control the dead? How does this make you feel? He finds this distressing! And rude! I think it's cool though.
2. (Optional) Nico can visit people in dreams. Vote Yes if you ever wanna. Sounds fun! He might not have fun dreams, however.

This poor man. Nico can usually sense if someone is dead or has died at some point. Are you okay with him being able to sense that from Hector? He's not pushy about it - probably won't even mention that he knows unless it becomes relevant.

Dreams - That's okay! Nico's dreams suck too. That's why he hops out of them~ He could drag Hector to something more pleasant as well.

Louis is undead in that he's a reanimated corpse, but he still has a soul and has experienced death (once as a human, technically many more as a revenant). His body also houses the echo of another undead soul.

1. Kuja's life burns bright and strong, but it feels a bit like a firework gone off -- fantastic, but it's going to fade some time soon. His body is, technically, immortal. The problem is his soul is not.
